Shakti Sourav Sahu was born in India. He attended school in India and eventually graduated from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela in 2006. Upon graduation, he took a job as a software engineer for Huawei, the maker of mobile phones and laptops. In 2007, he traveled from India to the University of Florida. He pursued a degree in electrical and computer engineering and graduated with a master of science in 2009. After his graduation, he started working for Intel Corporation. As a software engineer, he was responsible for designing, maintaining and implementing the algorithms Intel uses for routing. Design teams everywhere use the company's internal VLSI routing engine across all different sites. He started working for Intel in Hillsboro, Oregon, and then moved to company's offices in Santa Clara, California, in 2012. In February 2015, Shakti changed jobs and went to work for MobileIron. The company provides security for mobile devices and online applications. It encourages businesses to take their products and services mobile with safety and security. As a software engineer, he worked to create and maintain the programs keeping more than 15,000 companies safe. After a year with MobileIron, he took a position with Google in the San Francisco Bay area. His software engineering background has come in handy, helping him in his job with Google. He is still employed at Google and has no plans to move in the future. He dreams of someday opening his own business or startup company, but has no plans in motion.
