A lot of pressure is on kids as they become an adult and have to find their way in the world, however a core aspect of life has been controlled for them. At the age of 18, everyone stops ageing and stay like that until they find a soulmate to whom they can share the rest of their lives with. However, whereas some people continue on with their lives, knowing that they won't have to worry about love, others seek to understand this concept and choose to either control it for the better of mankind, or for their own selfish gains.

Everybody has a tattoo; they could be absolutely anywhere on your body. The tattoo begins appearing on the person's sixteenth birthday. When they're mad, it turns a mix of deep red and orange, when they are embarrassed it changes to a bright yellow, when they are upset it turns blue, when they are feeling lonely it turns purple and so on. The only time the tattoo will light up and turn white is when the person and their soulmate are in a thirty foot radius and when you lock eyes with your soulmate, it begins to heat up.
