Mayra Patterson is a final year university student studying Bionic-engineering. She is no longer in the dormitory and lives in an apartmant with her friend and roommate Christie who is studying Programming.
Mayra is focused on her studies, and does not have a boyfriend... at least not yet. When she finds out that her math professor has retired, and that the new professor is only 24, she gets a little sceptic and does not know how to feel about the situation.
After everyone finding out about the new professor, the girls in the university take his class just to see if they can get something out of it.
The Professor, Tommy Hughs, sees potential in Mayra and she ends up being his assistant.
Nearing the end of the last semester Tommy starts falling for her intellectual and playful side so just before she leaves for England he has to tell her how he feels.
Will she stay? Or will she leave to fulfill her lifelong dream?

Anthony stops at my bare shoulder and leans down to press a hot kiss onto the skin. "You can't say things like that.." He delivers another, this one to my collarbone and making my words grow weak, unconvincing ... even as they come from my own mouth. "We're supposed to be ... friends." Anthony is quiet at first, the only response I get being his free hand drifting over to cage my body into the small space between us. "I know .." He trails off. It goes dead silent for a second. After being burned, both physically and emotionally by her ex-boyfriend Rudy in her senior year of high school, Beatrix's trust in people is low. That is, until she transfers to the esteemed, private Highland University. It's a fresh start to give the girl what she wants most: A shot at normalcy. The plan is simple .. just keep her head down, study her ass off, try to become a functional person once again and hopefully make one friend or two. Everything was supposed to start over that year. "So what's your type?" "What do you mean?" I pause, looking up from my book to meet the eyes of my dear friend. "Type of what?" She shakes her head with a chuckle. It's as if our conversation has been leaked when my eyes rest back on the tall individual. The grey swirls are staring right back at me, his colleague oblivious of his wandering eyes. His expression is stern but in the light it seems as though his lips are curled up, making my stomach do a flip. "My type."
