This is the world where people have no need for any of the devices some are used to. We drop off old technology off on Mars in storage places we managed to build 100 years ago. You all may be wondering; "What year is this taking place? Who is even writing in this old journal anyway?"
My name is Dakota Caldwell. It's the year I am the former leader of this small collection of islands called Castonia. It's been 19 years since all this took place and I wrote about this stuff when it all happened. I was about 36 when it all went down so I'm currently 55 as we speak and don't know if I did good with explaining all this.
Anyways, I was about 14 years into my role here and was sorta ok with it then. I had my second in command, close soldiers that were like family, and soon a adopted child. But I'll get more into detail on all that in the chapters.
As a leader, you'll have some people against you and what all you say. I had a Rebellion on my islands so I was fully aware of them and what all was happening that they were doing. One whole attack blew my whole world into a twist of clouds around my head.
This may all sound ridiculous but if you read all that happened, you'll under stand all my troubles. I'll continue writing in this journal for my kids and soon grandkids to read. Hopefully this will teach them how to do a better job then I did and figure out what went wrong. I must go now, so I'll write back in a week or three. May you all be save in your little bubbles,

"Don't look at me like that. I promise I will make you feel like a queen, when living here." He said looking straight through me. He came closer and tried to kiss me. I turned my head making him to kiss my cheek instead. "One day you will kiss me. You will learn to love me too and learn to forget about Dakota Grey." He whispered taking a piece of my hair and tucking it behind my ear. "I will never love a monster like you." I said. "I have a feeling you will." He said, giving me a one sided smirk. "You don't know me." I said. He chuckled. "My love, of course I do." He said. "No you don't, we just met." I replied. "So many things you need to learn." He said playing with my hair. "Get your hands off me!" I said pushing them back. He gave me a devilish smile and got on top of me. "You don't disrespect your future husband! You will be a good girl and listen to everything I say! Is that clear?!" He growled. I kept my mouth shut and didn't dare to look at him. He grabbed my face with his hands and forcefully kissed me. Some Lies can Run
It's the future, and a war has knocked out half of the human race. The jungle has taken over most of the land, and people live in tribes or groups deep within the forest. Every group has a population of at least 300, and all of the tribes are against each other. Naikee lives in a group called the Sowadan group, and they live in the south region of the world. Each group is forbidden to go past the gates that hide their villages. Naikee is sick and tired of living within the walls of her villages, and she's always wondered what it would be like to go past them. On the morning of her Celebration of Life (basically a birthday), she finds a whole in the wall and runs past the gates and into the wild. After days of traveling she accidentally runs into a group called the Kaiboo, which are one of the most dangerous groups in the world. They are known for their cannibalism, though no one has ever dared to enter their gates. Before anyone can capture her, a boy named Mika runs into her and takes her to a secret underground storage. He only goes to her and talks to give her the meals at morning, afternoon, and night. After several days of this same thing, Naikee finally confronts him and makes him tell her whats going on. They get to talking, and he comes back to check on her more often now. As she develops a crush and they fall in love, they don't realize but they might be changing the course of history. Note: I'm sorry about the spacing, I'm not exactly sure how to do this because it's my first story.
