Victory attained by violence is tantamount to a defeat, for it is momentary. John and his unit, SITH-B, must survive what was to be a new colony on a new alien planet. Meridion. When he looks at himself in the mirror, he asks himself, What makes a man a man? Is it his ability to survive? Is it his family? His wealth? A man is everything. A man gives up the things he loves for the common good of others when it needs be. A man is a man because he has survived this planet when all else fails. He earned his mantle to survive when he colonized Meridion. Beyond all light of his home world. Man climbed the Universe and they can do it again. There once was man that dreamed of being a hero. Hero. What makes a hero? Strength. Intelligence. Truth. Honor. Bravery. SITH-B.

There was once a story of a man who could take on whole armies and survive. A man thought to be more machine than human, something that could rival the Sith. That story was wrong, this man could take on empires and the Sith, they feared him. His name echoes in the shadows, an unspoken hero of freedom and democracy; 117. This story is a rewritten version of the original Project Ares (by me) and features extra content and better/more concise chapters. Still, I do not take credit for the characters, only the story.
