2020: The Era of the Superpowered.

For as long as the human race existed, we have only dreamed about being able to fly among the clouds, or being able to race a vehicle on foot.

Only now is it a reality.

Throughout the world, people of every race and age have been in shock as they have been developing strange abilities. Superpowers as the press has been calling them. Governments are conflicted, and the world is in chaos.

You are one of those people, gaining mutations and superpowers that people around the world are fearful of. Many countries are taking these people in, to contain them in fear of them harming their society. They drove you into hiding. They're putting you in a cage like a wild animal.

That's when you hear the voice. A voice echoing through your mind.

Hello? Hi. You don't know who I am, or why I'm in your head. Frankly you don't have any reason to trust me but I need you to now.

You're a mutant. That's what the world is calling people like us now, people with powers.

You're confused. Fearful. You don't know what's happening or how to control these abilities, but we can help you. My friends and I. We're like you, and I can assure you there's a way to control this, but it needs your cooperation.

There is a place where you'll be safe, from the people trying to hunt you and from yourself. We'll help you to control yourself there.

And truthfully, we need your help. There are people out there. Bad people, who are trying to torture people like us. You can help change this world for the better.

We're forming a team. A team called L.U.N.A.R.

It's your choice of course, but whatever choice you make.

The image of a mansion in the woods appears in your mind, and without knowing how you suddenly know where you need to go, and how to get there.
