Choices Affect Everyone COMPLETE
Tension between mermaids and humans had always been high, especially after the queen of the mermaids had been killed by humans, regardless that it was an accident. So many years later when Princess Muriel becomes curious about humans, she keeps it to herself. Muriel lives in a castle with her father, sisters, and best friend, Percy. Some of her sisters blame her for their mother's death so Muriel avoids them when at all possible. She gains an interest in humans and trails after their ships. For humans, mermaids are bad luck so she knows that they won't attempt to harm her. The first time Prince Philip steps foot on a fishing boat he witnesses the crew catch a mermaid. Although terrified, he moves forward to help untangle her as no one else is moving. He prays that she'll forgive him. Worry forms when she takes a lock of his hair. Was that a way of marking him? Regardless, he doesn't fight, not wanting to make it worse. Worry increases when she's spotted again. Muriel begins to develop a crush on Prince Philip after he frees her from the net. When her sister's displeasure with her grows worse, Muriel seeks to avoid it. In a desperate attempt to do so she finds herself cave of the sea witch Minerva. Philip's kindness remains prominent in her mind when Minerva offers her a choice to be a human. Hesitantly she agrees, unaware of how different the human world from hers. Philip's bodyguard begins to catch on that Muriel is different and Percy and the king quickly become desperate to find her. My own version of "The Little Mermaid" by Hans Christian Andersen. Used to be called, "Mermaid Wish." (Magic in this world works differently than in my series, 'Tèarmann Chronicles')Complete

Captive of the Sea
Those who were taken... They never came back, dragged beneath the waves never to return. Their haunting screams were a symbol of their horrific deaths. Like shadows they lay in wait, the deep blue waters hiding them from view. With sharp claws they attack, Pointed fangs tearing into skin, Eager mouths devouring human flesh. Cally was taken, dragged under the water by one of the vicious creatures. But she was not devoured nor torn apart by ruthless claws--no. She was a captive. ~•~ Water instantly invades her senses. Her eyes sting, her lungs and nose burning. She thrashes, kicks, claws--anything to get away. Her efforts go to waste as her body slowly starts to shut down, the air in her lungs quickly being replaced by sea water. Cally is vaguely aware of arms wrapping around her waist and behind her head before she loses consciousness, submerged in darkness. And so she is taken. I'm writing a book about sirens and merpeople (yes, different things) and want opinions as I go along with the story and some support so I can continue writing! Sophia is part of the crew on the Major after hearing rumours the captain decided she has to die But as she was drowning she found a new power within her an turns into a siren Follow Sophia and her, later found, best friend Lucy on their adventures while discovering more and more of Sophia's powers. And I smell a romance between the friends blossoming And I have already written their get together scene so that is a promise I intend to keep ;) It's gonna be rated Mature when I post that scene, but until then it's off And that scene doesn't really hold any plot so you can skip it (I'll put a warning before and tell you when it's over though)

Thank you. Started; 01/30/2023 Finished; 02/06/2023 Plot; Princess Lucia is a seventeen year old girl who lived with her mother and father. The king and queen. She has a twin brother named Lucas. Little that she doesn't know, her brother try to get rid of her due to envy. He was younger than her. Lucia was being appointed to become the next queen for the kingdom. The royal guards ambushed the princess and took her away to the witch's house near the ocean. The two white witches agreed to help the princess for her desperate plea to return to her home castle. And stop her brother for his act of disposing his only twin sibling. The two white witches told her to take a swim in the sea before leaving. Before Lucia tries to get out of the water, she was suddenly transformed into a mermaid by the two white witches. There are two ways to break the spell before her time is up by the next month. If Lucia gets a kiss by the merman, she'll be a mermaid for all eternity. If the princess gets a kiss from the prince on land, she will be human again. If not, she will be lost in the world of water. Will Lucia see her family again as a mermaid? How is she going to reach them if she can't swim as a mermaid? Princess Lucia was new to be a mermaid. She has a long way to see her pink tail fin works in the ocean floor.Complete
