A raid from a new team leaves an island in shambles. To the public, no survivors had been found. Not one soul. To the wild Pokémon on the island however, there was. Not many, not even enough to call multiple. Only one person had survived. The son of a league champion, grandson of another, this native to Sinnoh is not to be taken lightly. Thoughts of revenge are non-existent for the young man in fear of retaliation. His only goal is to survive and hold onto hope from an escape from the island. Actually, what's that on the water?

Giovanni however had had enough and was now keeping Ash in a locked room with no windows, concrete walls, single metal bed, in the basement. To top it off he had taken Ash's pokemon. Every day the same thing, Giovanni himself would come in and question Ash on the whereabouts of the masterball. Complete OOCness and I'm changing ages cause AshxGiovanni doesn't work when they have a 20 year age gap. Ash is now 19 and Giovanni is 24 Oh right Boy x Boy just so you know, if you don't like it then don't read it, thanks. Mild swearing maybe some smut or fluff scenes. All in all proceed with caution. Unova, a region where hundreds of Pokemon are still undiscovered and a year before the immoral Team Plasma threatened the peace. Due to the Hero and his friends' valiant efforts the evil organization was disbanded; members scattered across Unova. Now, Professor Juniper has come back from her journey of assisting the new champion to an eager young girl, one whose Pokemon journey was put off for years by the events, Riley. And the minute the professor returns she's out the door. They reluctantly travel together and Riley becomes aware of a name being used to refer to her: Champion, though she hasn't won any gym badges or done anything special. Meanwhile, in the shadows, Team Plasma reorganizes, gaining strength under corrupt Sages and officers and led by Ghetsis. The team preaches a new direction, but the same motives added to a more "direct" and violent approach.
