After the events unfolded in the quintessence field, Princess Allura had tried to forget what happened between her and her ex-lover, Prince Lotor. She had began to develop a relationship with the Red Paladin, Lance, though she could never forget about Lotor. That's what has been on her mind since they went their separate ways after a very messy break-up. 
One day, the Prince managed his escape from the quintessence field, finding the Paladins, and his former lover, the princess of Altea.
