For Patrick, it all started December 27, 2006. It wasn’t love at first sight, per say, but he definitely felt something in the pit of his stomach. At the exact time it happened, he really had no idea what was going on. So, Patrick being Patrick, he shrugged it off as his nerves. (He was on the ice about to play against Team Canada in the world juniors). Looking back, he probably should have been able to figure out that it wasn’t just nerves seeing as it happened when he locked eyes with Jon.

 

For Jon, it never really started. Or he didn’t think so, at least.
