Harry was rescued from the Dursley abuse at 4 years old, and he lived with his uncles. But his uncles didn't have a lot, they were extremely poor, but very happy, Remus couldn't work because of his condition, and Sirius had a job but was not paid much at all. But, Harry grew up and was raised to be kind, gentle and appreciate the small things in life.
