Lacey, Nicki, Alaïa, Stella, and Avery were normal yet ordinary teenage girls that attended school in New York City (just like any other teenager would). But things get crazy when these five rivals start up a fight which causes all of them to end up in detention where they must learn that fighting never solves anything.
But one night, the girls were on their way home when a gang member known as the Foot Clan attacked and kidnapped them. In the midst of a shoot-out in the subway station, four odd shaped beings came to the girls' rescue. The real question everyone ask is 'who are they?' 'what are they?'
