Imagine a future world were a nation of beasts are only raised to protect the secrets of a book called Varitas. The Varitas'legion is set to guard the book, although two brothers will use the legion for their own purposes: ruling part of the galaxy, acting as mercenaries and increasing the power of the biggest and most corrupt bank. An allied or and enemy, Nick Valentine, will be always in the middle of all the confrontations, making them ask themselves if Nick is trustworthy or not.
