She wanted to shut her ears out, she couldn't bear to listen to this.
She scrunched her eyes shut as soon as she heard him pull on the trigger and her whole body shook as she heard the gunshot ring, twice and it all got quiet, or so she felt, she couldn't tell.
She didn't know how long she sat there, struggling to breathe, her eyes scrunched shut as she tried to avoid seeing what had occurred.
They were horrible parents but they were what she considered as her only living relative.
Tears escaped her closed eyes and she tried to control her sobs when she felt someone grab her arm and pulling her up. Minhee opened her eyes and came face to face to the man who shot her parents and she felt a deep disgust stir in the pit of her stomach.
His face gave away no emotion as he slowly looked her up and down before tilting his head as if wondering something before he spoke, "What's your name?"
She couldn't help but flinch at his harsh tone before choking out a whisper, her entire body shaking in fear as she tried to keep your anxiety down, "Mi-Minhee.."
He just looked her up and down one more time before he called out to one of the men standing behind him, "Put her in the car, we're taking her."
