[short action-thought scenes] In a post bio-nuclear war apocalypse, nothing remained the same. the radiation from the war sent rays that take infinite years to die out into our world de forming it, changing it, mutating it. All living creatures mutated even most of the humans, but no two had the same effect. the only humans that haven't mutated are those hiding under ground. We follow the story of Mado X a survivor who escaped his underground safe house which was last called "the quarantine" because of all the diseases that occurred when their self powering generator stopped working. He now roams the world in order to survive, but the radiation.. what did it do to him? will survival be easy? [WARNING: may contain vulgar language, blood scenes, rape, sexual ideas, violence]

Personally, I think we're all doomed. ------------------------------------------------------- This is my first attempt at the Open Novella Contest where you choose a prompt and write a novella. The prompt I chose: "Heaven and Hell collide once again. The War Demons march to meet the Battle Angels in a struggle for dominance over the Human Realm." I almost chose the prompt which involved taking a cow for a walk, but come on. Battle Angels! Heck yeah. Moo!

As the narrator, I'm tempted to simply write "Middle Finger" because that is essentially what you'll feel like I'm giving you in telling this story. However, for the sake of not being a complete dick, I'll write a little more than just a description of a disrespectful gesture. This story can aptly be described as crude and deranged. As you may have surmised, a crazy person will be telling this story, and the characters involved are indeed also all crazy in their own special ways. So, given this exercise in mental illness, the topics touched on (in no particular order) in this tale are destruction, death, superpowered wackos, torture, pain, loneliness, chaos, the will to survive, never giving up, giving up and not giving a shit, the desire to protect, failing to protect and causing more trouble than was already present, disappointing and/or abusive parental figures, bullies, unjust punishments, just punishments, racism, violent and usually superpowered fights, sci-fi gadgets, bitterness, sarcasm, twisted and demented comedy, control or lack thereof, weird and awkward high school drama, lies and brainwashing, alien aggression, moral ambiguity, unhinged villains, fantastical weapons, a piece of shit main character, conditional friendship, a fuck load of musical references, anger, fear, depression, extra-dimensional creatures, godly powers, various esoteric connections, pop culture references, and of course, in general, superpowers.

It was called reboot because I wanted to start over and use old characters for a new story. I was a lil hesitant to upload this one cause I was worried it might be confusing with the writing style changing. It was my time I got back into writing in a long time and wanted to experiment. This is a full length novel I wrote between the years of 2014-2017, my writing style has been all over the place through those years since I started writing it since I was 15 and ended it when I was 18. I wanted to show the story to the world but I know it isn't good enough to be properly published since there is plenty of spelling errors and for some reason 15 year old me was trying to write as edgy as possible. So my outlook on how this story is as changed I think it's very mediocre as I am now and kinda of just wanted it to end. However I still kinda want people to read it or at least get some satisfaction from it so I'm posting it. Demons, Angels, and Aliens what do they all have in common? They're all apart of Jamie Dale's life and as he looks upon the cliff wanting to jump he writes down the events that unfolded that lead him to that cliff.
