She plans everything down to the smallest detail only for everything to be ruined when he reveals that he likes someone else. Caught off guard, Ximena accidentally tells Luka she likes his friend, Asher. Asher overhears, and well... the story of the misunderstanding of the century, the consequences of eavesdropping, and the uncertainty of sharing one's feelings begins. Good luck homing pigeon
"Once upon a time, my entire world seemed like a dream. It was no wonder they called Paris the city of love; because sometimes, you just couldn't help but love it. No matter how much it rejected, betrayed, and turned us away, I would always love Paris the way I remembered it. Before it was stolen from us." Kate was grateful she got to have one good birthday. One, last good memory before it all happened. Before the German soldiers performed one of the biggest round-ups, known to World war two. Before nearly forty thousand Jews were deported from Paris. Before Kate, and her family were kicked out of their own city, their own country, and shipped to one of the most notorious concentration camps in Poland. Despite their ill luck, Kate remains forever hopeful. But even the hopeful aren't entirely naïve. Ever since she was a child, Kate has always wanted to be a hero. One of the heroines in her stories, to be specific. But what she doesn't know yet is that she is destined to become part of something bigger. With a boy she gradually realises she's in love with, and newfound friends in unexpected places, can Kate set out to save those she loves and more? Or will her decisions render the lives of not only thousands, but her own?Complete
