Katherine Green has just gotten out of high school has decided to go live with her grandmother across the country in a small town along the beach. She is taking a gap year to find out what life is really going to be like when she gets out of college and is introduced to the real world. Her grandmother's house is also a part of a gardening business, and her grandmother runs the small store and gave Katherine the oppurtunity of being a part-time employee there so that she could earn some money during her stay.
Katherine expects this move to give her experience, but to not be too eventful.
Fate must have simply had it out for her.
