Growing up, no one truly tells you how difficult being a teenage girl can truly be. Imagine this - it's a series of years in which the following happens : your first heartbreak, falling in love for the first time, pressure about choosing a future career, etc. I've learned a few lessons along the way, and I'd like to share my experiences with you.

Meet Me After Class
So who will it be for this hopelessly unromantic girl? The brooding best friend? Or the young and unquestionably attractive substitute teacher? They say every person is worth the potential heartbreak of relationships not working out. That's why people still take that leap. But not me. Never been kissed, never had a boyfriend-I was pretty convinced by now that I was one of those mega-rare exceptions to the rule; the unlucky sap was just not worth the risk. And I'm totally fine with that. Romance and heartbreak? Not worth the hype in my book. Until life decided to get all snarky on me. "Fooled you, idiot! You'll get your love story...just not at all how you wanted it." Before I know it, I'm swept up in romantic turmoil more dramatic than anything my wildest playwright fantasies could dream up. Twisted Control
Some guys are smooth, unreadable-dangerous in a way that makes your pulse do things it shouldn't. But hey, who doesn't have a little emotional damage these days? Then the weird stuff starts. The calls. The messages. The undeniable feeling that someone's watching you. Totally normal, right? (Wrong.) Because when your psycho ex, slithers back into the picture, things go from maybe I need help to okay, I'm definitely about to get murdered. The worst part? You have no idea which man you should be running from.

"Growing up around fairytales, Disney princesses and teen films, we are raised to believe that happy endings are always in store for us. But more often than not, reality sinks in, and the happy ending doesn't occur. Especially in high school. The main reason I liked this book so much was because it was so real. It was a love that was destined to crumble from the start, and yet, you kept pushing your luck. We've all been there. The late night texts from your crush waking you up to talk about nothing, the unexpected butterflies when you see him, the gross flaws he possess that you don't seem to notice, or the small things he does that turn you on. Most importantly, we learn that love truly is blind. We're unobservant to the world around us when our teenage love obsession is staring down at us with those big, brown, adorable eyes of theirs. And then when we wake up from this dream-like state that is a first love, we realize that he's not this perfect, older, mature man... but this boy."Completa

They were trouble. You could just tell by looking at them. They didn't talk to anybody, besides others in the group and people in our school spread stories about them all the time. They were intriguing and we all wanted to be apart of them. But of course, they weren't exactly open to letting others in. Overtime peoples wanting to be apart of them lessened or went away all together. But mine never did and I knew exactly why. It was her. The way she held herself and the mystery of what not only they held but what she held to. I figured it would just be an infatuation from afar. But oh how I was wrong.Completa

{A Nigerian Themed Novel😘} "You can't leave cause I have feelings for you!" I scream without thinking. My eyes widen and I draw my hands over my mouth in disbelief. I just admitted to Nathan before admitting to myself that I have feelings for him. I begin to step away slowly. Tears forming in my eyes. I see a huge smile get plasters on his face. I suddenly recall what Victor did to me and for fear of further embarrassment, I make to leave. I feel his grip on my arm. "That's all I have been wanting to hear you say," he says making me face him. I look away. Ashamed is an understatement for what I am now. 'i will never stop blooming, like an eternal rose of flame... i may have my times of smolder and small sparks, but i will always become a huge inferno in the end... and nothing can stop me.' Four of the hottest guys in school confessed to a single simple girl, it sounds impossible right?..... This kind of things are supposed to happen only in those teen fiction stories that high school kids read,,, so why exactly am i stuck in this situation?
