All was peaceful in the Rainwing kingdom, Queen Glory leading the tribe of the Rainwings. But a new darkness has risen and overthrown the Queen, claiming himself as King Vine, a malicious, power-hungry dragon who will stop at nothing to get what he wants. Meanwhile, an animus villager is figuring out how to get rid of the king, meeting other animus dragons and the love of her life, who leaves sooner than expected, leaving something powerful behind. Glory has escaped with her soon to be #1, seeking help from their allies, the Sandwings. But something unexpected has fallen into play, posing a danger to everyone.
