The afternoon sun sets in such a way that the forest is illuminated in dark blue. 

Kandis gazed across the mountain of trees, the once blue heaven was now a burning hell. The flames extended far into the sky. Her blood boiled. All their efforts, for this. 

"Isaac will pay," she mumbled, "I will make sure he suffers."
