Darya is a Persian name which means "Ocean".
In this short story, a clump of plastic huge enough to be considered a planet collides into Reggie's home planet of Darya. This incident leads to a mass extinction, with Reggie being the last survivor. Before he dies, Reggie finds a note half buried in plastic, which explains the Plastic Planet.
