Fawn Blanc is an orphan who was taken away from her parents at the age of 9. Her mother was an alcoholic and her father had a drug addiction and both beat her on a regular bases which is the reason that she was taken away.

At the orphanage, she meets her best friend Amelie who was abandoned as a baby because her parents didn't want a child. A few years later, the two run away from the orphanage and find 2 boxes that had miraculous in them.

Now in debt to Hawkmoth, they work for him to keep an eye on the akumatized victims that went around Paris. One day, Gabriel decides to allow the two girls to go to school so that they can keep an eye on his son.

At school, Fawn gets scared and hides under the stairs where she meets Marc. He's shy towards her at first but the two get along slowly and he legs her read his stories after she begged to read them.
