Ever since 1999, newborn babies were born with an odd defect, telepathy. Further research reveals that person x can only hear one person's thoughts/internal conversations, vise-versa with person y. Found several years later, scientists discover that person x and y become lovers. Only a few marriages of 1999-2000 babies lead to divorces. This generation was known as the "NLX Gen".
Matthew Erwin, 1999 baby, also a heterosexual male, started to hear thoughts of another man. Without knowing the person x/person y research, he thought he was becoming mentally disabled. Until finally, Matthew talks back.
