November has lived in Owl's Hollow, the largest forest in the entire kingdom her whole life. She's a daydreamer, always searching for the old magical creatures of legend and thinking about the stories her grandma keeps in their attic. Her two best friends, Aspen and Lion, don't help much either as they find the old legends just as interesting for their own separate reasons.
And, during the Turning Festival when the leaves of the trees turn every color imaginable, something happens to November that she cannot ignore.
