After outwitting Jamen Cassius, a corrupt scientist who is responsible for Sherlock's deaging, John and Sherlock aren't quite sure what to do. After searching endlessly for a cure for Sherlock, they quickly realize the only way to get him back to his normal self is to take a dangerous-and rather stupid-risk. But when mysterious notes keep showing up at 221B and people keep attempting to kidnap Sherlock, John decides it's worth the risk. Even if he thinks young Sherlock is pretty adorable...

He introduces holding out his hand to help her up. "Katherine, uh Kat. Kat Moore." She stutters out and takes his hand and he pulls her up so they are standing face to face. The two continue to stare at each other while holding hands until John comes limping out of the flat snapping them back into reality and breaking them up. They pull apart quickly as if hoping John didn't see their interaction. "Maybe I'll see you around?" Sherlock says as a taxi pulls up for Kat. Kat reaches out and opens the cab door. Another time skip to four years later, Elina finds herself constantly drunk due to the dismay of losing herself in the worst of ways to her boyfriend and finally decides for herself to do better, to be better and quite frankly, to not let anyone rain on her parade. During the case of what Dr. J. H. Watson; likes to recall as, A Scandal In Belgravia, Elina is down on her luck and reunites with her younger sister Molly in hopes to get her life back on track. To Mycroft Holmes, Elina Serenity Hooper is just a passing face but it can't be coincidence by the power of the universe that she happens to turn up at his office, looking her best with sharp senses and tactical knowledge applying herself for the position to become his newly established personal assistant? Perhaps Elina would admit in the end that her likeness for the Ice Man had blossomed early which in turn would slowly bloom into her first true love. Perhaps Mycroft would admit in the end that despite his tetchy aura and complications of being himself, he was indeed capable of being loved and to go as far as loving someone too...
