On the surface, Zenobia's principles of segregation were pure with good intentions; separate the men and women to keep the peace between sexes - to stop discrimination, inequality and violence.
However, is a segregated society the best place to nurture humans?
As two adolescents venture out to The Wall for solace, they uncover an essence of humanity long since forgotten after many years of segregation; and with it, the experience of the bittersweet taste of ugly fruits and vegetables.

Two people fall in love in unlikely circumstances. They have a lot of psychological issues and mistrusts in the order of things to prevent them from finding themselves and each other. I am a reader of crime novels and hard science fiction almost exclusively, and yet this story, which I have been writing for a long time, is a love story, I can't explain it even to myself. The characters will have to work through hardship and evolve to be able to surrender to the magical things around them and the flow of the universe and the love of other people.
