The Resistance (The Beginning of the End)

In 2020 a civil war broke out between the government and those who rebelled against it. The government had been covering up secrets that effected the whole nation and controlling it by using uncivilized methods to rid the nation of its problems. The government began to overstep to the point where it was trying to dictate the nation. They broke all rules, killed the innocent, and needed to be brought down. Some Americans stayed on the government’s side in fear of losing their life as well. The resistance has proper training, advanced and modern technology, and is ready to die at any given moment making them the most dangerous enemy the government has ever seen.
At the age of 4, Nicolette Marie Miller’s mother disappeared never to be seen again. The day after her 6th birthday, her father begins her training to become a recruit of the Resistance. On her 16th birthday, she awaits her father’s return. When he does not show she reports it to the resistance, but even they tell her nothing. It has been a year since her father’s disappearance, 13 years since her mother disappearance and all she can think about is finding what happened to her parents and why. She seeks help from Jake Carter and her families connections in order to figure out the mysteries that surround her parents.
