Wishes. A small, yet, significant part of our lives. We wish upon Birthday candles before extinguishing the tiny flame. We wish upon eyelashes before we flick them off our fingers. We whisper on a ladybug's shell before it flies away. We do all of these as means to pray simply, to hope for the tangible or intangible to enter our lives. However, the only method of having our wishes come true is by wishing upon a shooting star. In our world, and, yes, our world is different from yours; in our world to witness a shooting star is the equivalent to witnessing a miracle. It only happens in once in a blue moon. Those who claim to see them are often liars, so nobody believes a person that says they've seen a shooting star. But, if you are patient and lucky enough, then you might, you just might be able to spot one in the sky.
