I will probably delete this story sometime soon. Maybe I won't. This was when I was young. It was a bad fanfic, at least by my standards. I do not want my legacy on the internet to be this. I might remake it, probably not.
For new readers, this is a hiatus book. A spinoff of Crystal Schere's A Virus Within. If you haven't read the original. Basically, new type of zombies, and main character has it.

An Incoherent Sonic Fanfiction
I wrote this when I was 12. It is by far the longest piece of fiction I have written. It makes little to no sense looking back on it as an adult but maybe you might find some joy from it. Cast your minds back to a more hopeful time, when Sonic sprite comics were still all over the internet, when Super Mario Bros Z and Heroes Inc were still being made. The internet was slower, I was smaller. Roger had just replaced Jason as Sonic's voice, Sonic Generations would be announced in a few months. Dead Earth (old version)
The dead have invaded Earth, the social grid has been destroyed. Anarchy runs hand in hand with chaos and destruction. Thorne's town has been overrun, and she has been forced to go on a road trip that may never end. Along with her best friend, and other accumulated survivors their path has crossed with, they take a journey across the country to get away from the terror of the dead -- and the living. Warning: this is the old version (which you hopefully realized by the title). The new version is very much different, much more thought out and outlined. It hasn't been posted yet (still needs to be written and then lots of revising). I'd say enjoy this version while it's still posted... but honestly, it's rather rocky as I sort of jumped into the book without a plan, clear plot, or anything. A lot of the information in this book regarding the au has changed as well, and while the main storyline/details are the same, a *large* amount of things, including a few major ones, have changed. . !!! ALSO I DO NOT SHIP POTATO AND KO !!! This fic was written in 2017, and I was 13 at the time. While it wasn't even anything I shipped at that time, either, it was only put in the story because of reader appeal.
