"Is she mine?" The man's superior aura was frightening. He demanded to be respected. My mother grabbed my head and pulled me away from him. Her body shielded mine as I felt her shake in fear. I hid behind my mother, wondering who this man was. "Arizona, don't listen to him." She whispered. "IS SHE MINE?" He screamed at her off the top of his lungs. I winced and gripped my mother's shirt. This man was scary. "You've managed to avoid me for sixteen years, but never once thought to tell me about our child?" Mother averted her gaze. "She's not yours." Bad mistake. His eyes turned pitch black and he let out a fearsome growl. "You're lying."
