A young Darius knew he had a crush on his neighbour Bianca, the day he moved across the street.
 
One summer night, after he graduated from High School and she from University, an impromptu basketball game sparked a connection between them.

With Darius moving away for school, and Bianca's corporate job in the city, their friendship thinned out until a series of events put them both in moments of vulnerability and reignited the childhood crush.

But Darius waited too long to tell Bianca how he feels, and now she is about to take the next step with her boyfriend.

Bianca ordered one scoop of Mint Chip and Darius ordered two scoops of Birthday Cake.

"Really? Are you five years old?" Bianca teased.

"Don't knock it until you try it," Darius challenged with a smirk.

The butterflies in Bianca's stomach had not settled and his playfulness wasn't helping. Between the guilt of lying to Jeremy and trying to find out what Elena was referring to a couple days ago about Darius' behaviour, her anxiety was agonizing. The only thing she was certain about was that she wanted to be there. 

The butterflies were more than just nerves. She was crushing.
