Years since Koon Eduan took you in for training after your father killed himself after your brother was murdered and your mother went crazy.
He'd been disowned from the family since his sister became a princess of Jahad.
You'd been kept in the family as a mode of protection. The Slayer of anyone that would dare harm the leader of the Khun Family. 
Now. It was time to go up the tower

For what exactly? Honor and discovery
You were to honor the Khun Family, given a weapon known as Ancient Endian to the eldest of a family you didn't know. A scythe.
