All Gideon Saint wanted was an adventure. Now he's dead, Wales has fallen, his friends are in prison, and Dancer is trapped in another dimension. Dancer is desperate to get home to Wales, but he's going to need help from his long lost relatives for that. Gideon is powerless as a ghost, except as a spy. But he's learning nothing in Henry V's court that will help him free his friends before they're executed. It's just not shaping up to be a very good Christmas. Please read book 1 first if you haven't already! Living people die, dying people live, Henry V is here and he's awesome despite being the main antagonist, everybody is vaguely gay, swords are described in loving detail, people are not, lovely platonic friendships, did we mention swords? Yes, you may learn something about history, but that's a risk you'll have to take. Triggers/Content: same/similar level of peril and violence as the first book. Some mention of drug abuse (not by a major character) some discussion of self-harm. Religion is discussed.
