Amara Solace, a Detective working for the LAPD that needs to come to terms with her tricky and enigmatic consultant, Li Hyera. This story makes for a strong psychological tug-of-war between the detective's skill and the consultant's interference. She solves the case, but did she really solve it? That doubt will eat at her, and it'll only get worse as the consultant's influence grows. That makes her dynamic with the consultant even more interesting. For Hyera thrives in unpredictability and manipulation, while Amara wants everything to be precise, logical, and under her control. The more the consultant interferes, the more she struggles with the feeling that she's not the one driving the case, given her perfectionism. Let's see how the dynamic of the story goes and the possible dark romance building up between the two women. Shall we?
