Four years after the fall of Wall Maria the Scouts captured an abnormal Titan. It was taken into Wall Rose and tied down in a forest outside Trost. The Scouts didn't get very far in their experiments before they had to abandon the project. But due to a mess up in relayed messages the Titan was never killed. Some time in the future, and due to certain events, it was rediscovered. But the thing wasn't the same it used to be.
