Empty Seats (NINJAGO)

In his senior year of high school, Kai reluctantly joins the drama club after Mr. Garmadon, the school's strict theater director, hunts him down. With the senior being a decent tenor, Garmadon insists that Kai tries out for the lead, much to Kai's dismay. It's already enough that he and Nya are forced to enter a new school once tragedy hits their family; now he's setting himself up for social failure as a theater geek.

To see his little sister smile at every rehearsal, however, leads Kai to realize that drama club couldn't be the worst thing to happen to him. After all, the club is filled with a pretty interesting group of people his age, each with a different face and a different story.
