This book is about a 13-year-old girl who has to move to a mansion and leave all of her friends behind. her dad tells her that the mansion might be haunted from what other people told him but she doesn't believe him until its too late. She explores her new house for a little bit and she comes across the attic and stumbles across some dusty diary that must have been left there by the last movers. She started reading and finds some pretty disturbing stuff. then the diary gives Lizzy the places where Anna hid the clues on how to stop the ghost and she follows the clues and reads the diary all when the ghost is out to get her. Will she finally stop the ghost? or will she end up in the same fate as Anna?

This story is not getting the attention it deserves, so I am attempting to "re-brand" it. Maybe no one "gets" it. If you want to read about "Normal" teenagers, maybe this isn't for you, it's more complicated than that. Who watched his father lose his job in the Recession and then loses his home, and how he copes, especially when he learns that their new house is haunted and the ghost is in his room. When his parents lived in a house in a home owners association like all his other friends, life seemed normal. Then his father lost his job and suddenly those "friends" weren't there anymore--except for his two best friends, Short Round and Dewey. The three are skaters, good ones, who live for girls and their skateboards. They're also basically good kids who take pride in being different without paying attention to it. When Michael loses his home and his family has to move they have his back. And they are there for him when the ghost girl starts following him around.
