Makai starts a new school in a new town but she thinks she lived there before, she doesn't remember anything from her childhood due to a car accident when she was around the age of 12. Makai is starting her sophomore year in high school, not knowing who she will fit in with, who she will be friends with or how she will make it through the year thinking she had lived there before.

Dex is starting his sophomore year in high school and hates almost everything, he is one of the most typical quiet kids in school and doesn't think he will make any friends until he runs into Makai one morning before the start to the second semester of school. He tries to keep his cool but she just isn't what he though she would be and so he try's his best to keep her around even when she can be annoying by not talking.

Blake Nash, the schools bad boy and one of the most popular kids in school, he had a history with Makai and wants to get everything back to how it was but with Dex around he won't be able to. Blake's reputation started off a cheater and he beat the guy up, he lies and fakes things to keep it going but will Makai be able to make him see the truth?

Will this just be another story on how the 'good girl' changed the 'bad boy' or will there be some twists and quirks that change everything? Read to find out!
