Augustus Wilson hates dogs. He hates them with a passion. But the one dog he hates the most, is his twin brother, Calloway's dog, Wallace. A handsome Doberman in a beige wool sweater. One day, when Calloway asks Augustus to walk Wallace, after some convincing, Augustus agrees. In the middle of this walk, a rather handsome boy by the name of Josh Holland, takes notice of Wallace, and falls in puppy love. But Josh isn't the only one falling in puppy love, but Augustus took one look into Josh's eyes and fell for him, deeply for him.
Josh then asks Augustus if Wallace is his dog, and in attempt to impress the boy, Augustus forced himself to say "Yes."
