What you left behind (mystic messenger fanfic)

I woke up to an empty cold bed noticing that saeyoung wasn't there next to me. which was actually a first.... we always woke up together..... something wasn't right.

"saeyoung honey where are you"

No answer, I got off the bed and searched the entire apartment for him but he was nowhere to be found, that's when I started to panic. the more I looked around the more I noticed that his things were missing. I ran to our room and checked the closet seeing that his clothes were gone.

"no he can't be gone he swore he wouldn't leave me behind no matter the reason. wait mc don't jump to conclusions maybe Vanderwood knows something he just has to know something..... right?"

I ran as through the hall and knocked on his room door panicked wanting to know what had happened to saeyoung why his things weren't anywhere in the apartment. Vanderwood opened the door and looked mad since I just woke him up. soon as he saw my worried looked his expression changed and became worried as well.

"whats wrongs mc, did something happened?" he asked wanting to know why I looked like I was about to cry.

looking up at him with tears in my eyes I asked.

"saeyoungs missing...... his belongings are nowhere to be seen..... do you know where he could be please tell me if you do I thought maybe he at least told you where he might go."

"what do you mean his belongings are missing??"Vanderwood looked at me with a confused look.

and that's when my heart sank, he didn't know that saeyoung left. he doesn't know where I can find him. and that's what broke me. I started to cry like never before... I don't even remember the last time I cried like this. all I could think about is that where could my honey be is he hurt is he safe... I ran out of the apartment and onto the streets calling out saeyoungs name over and over. I think Vanderwood called after me to come back but I ignored him my heart broke in two for saeyoung my boyfriend of almost 2 years had suddenly disappeared out of my life.
