This year, the annual winter festival is of greater importance than usual in the land known as Imperia. King Philip Ekstrom has decided to forge an alliance with two of the greatest enemies of Imperia, Cassany and Centhland. The problem is, strange things are happening. A great fire which killed thousands of people is just the start, as enemies new and old emerge to exploit the opportunity. People who don't want the alliance to happen, people who want to overthrow their kings, and people who just hope to make an easy coin push Imperia on the brink of war.

It's not up to any one person to save it. That's why a group of heroes must band together, from the reluctant ones to the fire forged veterans, to save the king and Imperia from the one boy who always seems to gain advantage from any situation, Mikael Ekstrom, widely known as the Herokiller.

This story has two storylines entwined together. One is traditional fantasy, complete with magical creatures and adventure, while the other is more GoT-esque, with courtroom manipulations and dark magic. This is because some people like the former while some the latter, so I thought, why not have both? (I personally am more of a thriller person)

Seven years ago, Tristan Knight walked away from the love of his life, Serenity Harris, without a word or a backwards glance. No goodbye. No Dear John letter. No words of apologies or excuses. She'd woken up one morning to an empty bed, her body sore; her hair wild and unkempt from their tempestuous love-making the night before. That night had been the first time Tristan told her he loved her. Their courtship had started fast. It took four hours for him to get her into bed and take her virginity and one night for her to fall head over heels in love with him. The year leading up to their final night together had been full of twists and turns, ups and downs. But she'd thought they had finally gotten to a place where they full understood and valued one another. So what happened? Why did he leave? And why had he come back today of all days? Her wedding day. To his former best friend and band mate, Nyle Wentworth. Nyle has been there for Serenity ever since Tristan left her heart in irrepairable pieces. Nyle loved her back to life and in spite of her love for Tristan, she found herself drawn to him. Now they're about to get married. He and Tristan were friends but that's all in the past. And that's where he intends to keep it. All Serenity wants to do is to marry Nyle, be happy, and go on with her life but the reappearance of the love of her life is making that more than difficult. Tristan is back, he wants what's his, and he doesn't care who he has to destroy or kill to have it. Now that Tristan's back, Serenity finds herself torn between what her heart wants and who her head knows is the better choice. **For mature audiences only (18+)

{BOOK 2} ...Oh the sweet agony of that delicious yet light friction. It took all of his strength not to moan... But suddenly, he felt Rowan bite his bottom lip hard, it threatened to bleed. And shortly after Rowan was off him. He looked at the prince confused, "What the hell?" But Rowan just smiled and said, "I'm still mad at you but hey, that," he pointed to Garrick's bulge, "should be a good distraction for the rest of the night." He then sauntered his way off to the tent. For a moment, Garrick didn't respond. Then he nodded, his expression softening just a fraction. "You're cruel," he said. --- In the company of Rowan and a still freshly heartbroken Hyacinth, Garrick sets out to his home on the island of Goldovia. But things aren't as he left them. A darkness and seeped through the land and into the grounds leaving behind a skeleton of the once beautiful paradise. Follow their journey as they unlock new unexpected truths about his father while Hyacinth finds a new distraction from her past lover, Aria. I suppose it wouldn't really matter if you read book 1 to understand this book but it would make a lot more sense if you read book 1 first. So maybe check it.out. It would make me really happy 😁
