Frisk has fallen into the underground, but something is not quite right. They've fallen five years late and there seems to be some side effects because of this... Some side effects that will tear them apart mentally and physically as they race to get out of the underground before it's too late.
Notes for readers:
-This is in the first person view of Frisk. I write best in first person and we can portray ourselves onto Frisk and be in their shoes.
-I will refer to Frisk and Chara as female. It's just how I picture them, but I will still limit the pronoun usage for those who prefer them as male or gender neutral. Just a fair warning so nobody can be triggered.
-There will be fluffy Frisk x Sans. It's not the main focus of the story, but it will be there. I ship it!
-I started this fanfic some time ago, but stopped working on it then deleted it to focus on my other writing. I'm just a piece of Undertale trash and this story I came up wouldn't get out of my head so I figured I'd dust off the old pages, edit them up, then pick up wherever I left off. Stories are meant to be shared and enjoyed, not hidden away.
-This cover is not pretty. I know that. It's a placeholder until I get into an artsy enough mood to draw up a good cover. Who knows how long that will be...
-Undertale and it's characters belong to Toby Fox.

Posttale (English UT/DR AU)
This story takes place after the events of the pacifist ending of Undertale, where all the monsters have already left the underground. However, that won't stop problems from starting again; Frisk and his friends will have to face a new threat. DISCLAIMER: This story is based on the fact that the first human fell underground in 2015 and the last in 2060. Here, Deltarune is a sequel to Undertale; therefore, Posttale is not a copy of TobyFox's creation, but an adaptation, or what is also called an "AU." Because of this, there will be things that are different from canon and adapted to my personal preference, with no intention of disrespecting anyone; for example, the gender of the humans: Kris: M Chara: F Frisk: M Don't like it? Undertale; Consequences of your actions.
Chara. The demon that comes when people call it's name. The title given to her by everyone that blamed her for the genocides. For what Frisk did just because they wanted to see what would happen. Because they refused to own up to their actions, and instead blamed the only person who could realistically be blamed. Chara. The human, who, despite her flaws, still tried to be a good person. She was forced into this endless cycle of murder and animosity against her will. She never wanted any part in this. Frisk, blaming Chara for their own atrocities, believes her to finally have given up. They think they are above consequences because its a game to them, that they will always win... Soon they will learn that they can't run away from them forever. Soon, the darkest pit of hell will open and swallow them whole. -All characters in this story are NOT mine except for one, she is my character. And she is not, I repeat, NOT a self insert. She is meant to be a dark mirror of Chara in a lot of ways, but similar to her in many more aspects. The others belong to Toby fox, the original owner of Undertale, as well as to Temmie Chang(hope I spelled it right.) This exists because I feel like too many people blamed Chara for our own actions. Because that was easier than to admit that genocide was a path that we chose of our own volition. This was especially true in the earlier years of the fandom, and is still true even today-to an extent. Due to that, and my combined love of the character, I just knew it was worth writing a happy ending for them, or in this story as I interpret Chara to be female. What Went Wrong?

Soon after that, Chara joins a new family, but their ambition to keep everyone happy goes a little overboard and Chara is flung into a reality of destruction and hopeless wonder. Then many long years later they meet the beloved Frisk, who fell into the Underground, similar to themselves. Intro: The barrier was down. It had already been four week.
