Found in Time

Alone in the darkness.
Trying to find a way out, but to realize that you've fallen so far.. and so deep, there will never be a way out. You will never see the sky again, or the sun that radiates heat. You will never feel the cold air against your skin or see life pass you by, the wind blowing against your hair, or the flowers bloom in the spring. You will never hold the ones you love and watch them grow old by your side, or see the smile on their face as they tell you it will be ok as they wipe your tears away. You will never see the green grass swaying in the wind or the ocean waves washing over the sand. The mountains and the view of humanity growing, but most of all, you will never be home again. You will never feel safe and you sit there and wonder what you did wrong, and wonder what's next for you, but there is only darkness.
