You've Liked Michael Mell, the loser and stoner of the school, since 8th grade but had never told anyone ever, except your best friend Christine.
You never stopped liking him, but you had ignored your feelings on him.
When you and Christine go to Jake's Halloween party you're ditched by Christine while she runs off with Jake. To hide the fact you'd been crying you decide to go to the bathroom.
That's when you walk in on Michael just about ready to cut his wrists. You stop him and the two of you become friends and eventually fall in love.
