Qwin Albane is your typical teen introvert- steering clear of other people, focusing on grades, the likes. He's average in every way, he gets an even amount of B's and A's, he's not to short, not too tall, he goes to the average school Winderburg High, he's got an average sweet-heart mom and leads a relatively average life. Except for a few things.

Qwin Albane is deaf. He takes separate classes with his teachers and never speaks- for what's the point? He goes through the school silently, never speaking, ignoring everyone and being ignored. Flashbacks haunt him and he goes through the day relying on the avoidance of others and medicine. He used to find joy and purpose in marching band but can no longer play, a loss he feels deeply.

But what happens when the new student Donovan Jhashka arrives and brings light and revival into his dull world? Little does he know that this new student is mute; never speaking. Will Qwin have the courage and will to reach out and let this new arrival bring him joy again, or will he pull away from contact and stay to the sidelines?

Hi!! I'm Rhyn, this is actually my first story so I'm a little nervous! This probably won't get too many views (if any at all) but it's worth a shot!
