Samuel Li-Huang, Adelaide's finest private investigator, seems to always be two hairs away from tracing Kitt Duncan - renowned bank robber and escapee extraordinaire - to the millions that she has stolen over the past few years.  However, there's always a hitch: no money is ever found, no witnesses ever give straightforward reports, and no connections are ever made. Sam has always felt as if he was only scratching the surface of this case; however, after one run-in with the elusive Kitt that changes his entire world, he begins to doubt everything he's ever learned about her and her entire situation.
