"The Rebirth" was an event characterized by its reanimation of the dead. What first started as a flu epidemic became a full-scale biological threat. The entire world died, and then rose again. With the world trodden down into waste by the undead, only a handful of the living are left.
Fourteen years later with the miasma clear, a small street in Seattle has become a sanctuary for those that are left living in the world. This bastion of humanity, Heaven Street, is run by Commander Genevieve Lockheart, a tyrannizing contessa. And contrary to its name, Heaven Street is far from harmonious. With a seedy underbelly and corrupt rule, it's come to the point where people would rather be living oppressed and in filth than going it alone out in the world of the undead.
Amongst this commune is Bellamy Bauer, a young boy who has been spared most of the gory chapters beyond Heaven Street's walls. While tending to his sick mother and trying to rekindle the flame of a lost friendship, Bellamy is suddenly tossed into the wickedness of Heaven Street's core. Having to resort to drastic finalities, Bellamy leaves the confining chains of Heaven Street in search of freedom and safety in a world where there is none. Accompanied by others, Bellamy squanders the infectious ruins in search of a better life, battling against the odds of undead hordes and dangerous bandits and constantly fleeing from Commander Lockheart's army.
Sometimes, the young boy wonders: Perhaps it's time to take back Heaven Street.

We're Still Alive(Book1)BEING REWRITTEN

73 parts Complete

This book follows four teenagers from four different parts of the U.S. when their lives are dramatically changed one day. When zombies become real and more than just horror movies and scary books, they're forced to fight to stay alive. What they don't know is how similar their struggles are, along with their goal: get to the supposed safe haven alive. (The book is under editing right now, and I'll be changing the location of the safe haven from Columbus to Cincinnati. I didn't really think it through when I first wrote this but I think that Cincinnati would make a little more sense. Sorry for any confusion!) *************** BEING REWRITTEN I started writing this at 14, and it started out as something I made just for fun. The story was mostly imporvised, and I don't like how it's turned out. I've had a lot of new and hopefully more interesting ideas, and there's so much that I decided to rewrite the whole thing completely. The story will be very different but the characters will be the same for the most part. It'll have the same style of writing with the different points of view, but separated between books instead of chapters, and I already have a storyline laid for the first 2 or 3. I'm sorry for the people that like the original story and were hoping for more, so I won't be deleting this one. I'll update on my page once I start posting chapters of the new series.
