Imagen a Greek myth, the Amazons, for example, a completely female warrior tribe.  Now imagine that that myth is real, and you are a young Amazon living in the rule of the most famous Amazon queen, Queen Penthesilia and that you are her niece. That is exactly the life of  Amara, a 16-year-old Amazon. But soon she starts wondering about the world outside and sets of on an adventure of a lifetime.
