Isabella, a 16 year old girl from Maine who is deceived by Kai, a mysterious boy who will soon be going to her school. After meeting Kai, Isabella is exposed to many dangerous but exciting new adventures as well as meeting Kai's group of friends who are just as crazy and infamous as he is. One of Kai's trouble making friends Tilly, discards a list of tasks to complete in order help Isabella uncover something huge.


During all of this there are scenes that Isabella realises that she has caught feelings for multiple characters from different genders (cis+trans) hence the title "Battle of the Queer".


I have a lot of chapters but they're all very short chapters. So the book moves on rather quickly.
