The Plastic Water

With all animals, but humans, as gone as dinosaurs and mammoths and no one remembering what a watery ocean is, but a plastic ocean. Alice finds government records at her local library with pictures of a real ocean, she strives to show the world, starting with her father, the governor of Oregon. When her father disagrees, even with evidence she goes to the coast and organizes the plastic, until she finds a frozen crab and the ocean.
